The success of the health promotion programs in Ignace relies heavily on the community partner relationships established.
The MBCHC is the lead organization of numerous activities, which include the FOCUS Program, Community Cooking Club, Indoor Walking, Family Fun Night, the Ignace Heart Health Fair, Step Alive, Diabetes Support Group, Blood Pressure Clinics, Men’s Club, Lifeline,
MBCHC Newsletter, Ignace Helping Hands and Women Against Violence Prevention Program.
The MBCHC partners with a variety of community partners to bring the following initiatives to the community, the Children’s Festival, Smoking and Alcohol Prevention Programs, Breakfast for Learning, Eat Smart, Halloween Family Fun Night, Ignace Winter Carnival Events, Ignace Food Bank, Busy Box, REACH Box, and Little Literacy Fair.
